Abstract

This study examines the influence of teacher leadership on students' motivation to enhance their academic performance. Employing a quantitative approach, a Likert-scale-based survey was administered to 365 students, assessing their perception of teachers' leadership and their academic motiva- tion to engage in learning activities. The research methodology is descriptive with an exploratory scope. The objective is to analyze the impact of teacher leadership on the motivation of students in the Faculty of Business Sciences. The results reveal a significant correlation between effective teacher leadership and student motivation. Students who perceive their teachers as competent and approachable leaders exhibit higher levels of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. These findings suggest that fostering teacher leadership skills can be an effective strategy to enhance academic performance and student satisfaction.
