Abstract

The research analyses the social benefits granted by a car dealership in Villahermosa, Tabasco and their impact on the job satisfaction of workers, as a staff development strategy, which becomes a competitive advantage in order to motivate, retain and stimulate staff and improve productivity, taking into account the resources of the organization. A quantitative approach was used, with an explanatory, non-experimental, cross-sectional scope, through a statistical census with 86 workers distributed among the middle and operational command analysis units, taking into account certain sociodemographic characteristics of people such as gender, age and the position they hold. The findings made it possible to know that social benefits turn out to be favorable and beneficial for workers by addressing their different personal and work needs. Likewise, those social benefits that the worker gives greater value and less value were identified, observing differences according to age, gender and position they perform, which influences their work performance
