The economic well-being of countries is closely linked to the respect and protection of human rights; even more so in relation to economic, social and cultural rights, which have meant a demand to States to adopt public policies and clear norms that protect the rights of people to work, to a living wage, to access to health care, education and others that reflect the levels of social and economic well-being of the regions. The emergence of economic, social and cultural rights has significantly transformed the content of fundamental rights. The principles originally set out to limit the behavior of the State have become norms that require the State to manage the economic and social order. Guarantees designed to protect individuality have now become rules that put collective interests first. In this article, these rights are specified and the international instruments that contain them are indicated, in a descriptive manner, it is intended to contribute to the doctrine of human rights linked to the economy of countries.
