Abstract

This theoretical information review article aims to explore and investigate articles referring to the variables of managerial leadership and institutional climate, to describe the relationship between these variables. Directive Leadership allows teachers to be guided, favoring a good institutional climate to improve learning and achieve institutional goals, placing special interest in promoting a good climate within the organization. Key words such as management leadership, institutional climate and how they are related were used in the collection of information. Articles from various indexed journals and theses were collected, as well as theoretical bases of authors to support the bibliographic review, recognizing the relationship between managerial leadership and institutional climate. Finally, it is possible to conclude that there is an important relationship with respect to managerial leadership and institutional climate, based on the conclusions of the reviewed articles, the majority agree on a significant relationship of the proposed variables in their different dimensions.
